Capstone Project: Module V
This week's focus was on getting the application ready for testing. We accomplished several milestones, from getting the code execution fully functional with tests incorporated for every problem. I was able to set up a VM hosted as a DigitalOcean droplet using NGINX as a proxy to a Piston Docker container acting as an api for code execution, so that users aren't constrained by the original API limits. I was also able to fully integrate the algorithm so that progressive unlocks can be applied across categorical mastery and will both schedule and activate review sessions at later dates in time. As a team we've also been discussing how best we can both incentivize the users towards continual progress on the app. Just yesterday, we deployed and shipped the application with our latest changes and can be accessed at:
This week's goal is to fine-tune and improve upon our existing application. I still need to incorporate the SM-2 algorithm, which is possible however, will need to discuss with our advisor this week on where best our efforts should be placed as, there are several marginal improvements that can be made with the short amount of time we have.
I think we're doing great as a group, I know we've been pretty stressed as of late but am very fortunate that I have team members that are willing to share the workload. As of now I don't think any assistance is necessary.
