CST334.1 Module One

What I learned this week:
This week through the reading I learned that the Operating System is essentially a resource manager, ensuring that the system operates efficiently, with persistence in mind. It does this through virtualization, where the OS takes a physical resource and virtualized it into a more easy to access, powerful form that deals with concurrency and persistence. I also gained some familiarity with linux, specifically in navigating through bash, and some of the basic commands. Through the PA this week I also brushed some rust off my understanding of pointers and dereferencing as it's been awhile since I've used any C related language.
